FEBRUARY 6th, 2017: Regular scheduled Reagan SC Board of Directors meeting at Reagan Library at 6:00 PM. There will be several topics for discussion… By-Laws and Nominations for Upcoming Elections for Reagan SC Directors.
Elections for the following positions are open for nominations: President, Secretary, and Registrar. Anyone wanting to run for elections to these offices need to attend this meeting and declare their intent to run (per Reagan SC Constitution and By-Laws) at this meeting. Also; any revisions to the Constitution/ By-Laws need to be brought to this meeting for discussion and inclusion to the elections at the Reagan SC Annual General Meeting.
DUE TO THE TIMELY NATURE OF CUSD APPROVAL FOR THIS MEETING, PEOPLE UNABLE TO ATTEND THIS MEETING BUT WANT TO BE NOMINATED FOR THE OPEN “ELECTED” POSITIONS MAY DO SO BY EMAILING THEIR NOMINATIONS TO [email protected] BY NO LATER THAN 4 PM ON FEBRUARY 6th, 2017. THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER NOMINATIONS ACCEPTED IN WRITTEN FORM AFTER THIS DEADLINE. ATTENDANCE AT THE MEETING IS STILL ENCOURAGED AND NOMINATIONS WILL BE TAKEN IN THIS MEETING AS WELL. AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE MEETING; THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER NOMINATIONS ACCEPTED.
FEBRUARY 16TH, 2017: The Reagan SC Annual General Meeting will take place at the Reagan Multipurpose Room at 6 PM. At this meeting; the parents that comprise of the membership of Reagan SC will vote on potential candidates for open Director Positions and revisions for the RSC Constitution/ By-Laws.
In addition to the ‘Elected’ positions for the Board of Directors, there are also ‘Director at Large’ positions available. These positions support the Club by assisting with RSC activities needed for normal Club operations. These positions are appointed positions by the RSC Board of Directors with one year terms. Parents that want to get involved but are uncertain about commitment issues would be welcomed to become part of the Board of Directors in this capacity.
As parents (and members of RSC); your participation is not only encouraged but also welcomed as well. Your attendance at these 2 upcoming meetings would be a strong way for this Club to continue its strong representation throughout the ‘Soccer’ community. Please strongly consider attending and offering your support to this Club by getting involved.
At the conclusion of the AGM; we will have a Q & A about upcoming initiatives from CJSL/US Soccer that will benefit our children in the long run. All current and potential new coaches are encouraged to attend to understand the benefits for them as coaches.
